The most exciting part was getting our kitchen lighting installed by Jeremy's brother-in-law.

I can't stop staring. And switching the lights on and off.

One light we can't switch on and off is the FADO in the breakfast nook. It's wired in without a switch... we'll get that taken care of soon enough.
So in order to get to the attic to hard wire in the cabinet lighting I had to remove all my clothes from the hall closet.

Awww.
Meanwhile, we entertained the rest of the family in the living room by playing Dance Dance Revolution on the xBox and Wii sports on the Wii.

Meet Corbin (almost 5) and Ford (just turned 3). Their dad and Jeremy were installing the lighting while we partied in the living room.
After all that hard work we passed out on our new huge couch (which I promise to photograph and post sometime this week) while watching a discovery channel documentary on deadly jelly fish. Then we managed to wrangle the crew and have a BBQ and movie watching party (again on the huge couch). A pre-housewarming test run, if you will (and I think you will).
The next day we took our nephews out to a small water park in Edmond.

Here's Jeremy with Corbin & Ford. Everyone's expressions in this photo cracks me up.
And here's my nephew.

Meet Charlie (just turned 4).
We all had a fantastic time and escaped with just a smidge of sun and a few freckles on our shoulders.
