Mrs. LeFave!
Mrs. LeFave - email us at JeremyandKathleen@gmail.com with your info. and I will drop your subscription form in the mail today!

I had the contest entrants describe their favorite piece of furniture. Mrs. LeFave's is her chartreuse green velvet victorian couch. Fun!

I made Jeremy pick a number between 1 and 7 (there were 7 entries) this morning.
Me: "Jeremy. Pick a number between 1 and 7"
Jeremy: "Okay."
Me: "....."
Jeremy: "....."
Me: "?"
Jeremy: "Oh! Do you want me to tell you? 4."

I think he thought I was trying to perform some sort of David Blaine magic trick. The point of the story is that the drawing was random.

However, I just might have to buy my sister a subscription for her following comment:

My favorite piece of furniture is my baby's crib. I used it for my four-year old when he was little too. It is from the 30's is made out of a honey-colored wood, and has neat ribbed-slash-curved detailing on the posts that make it look a little art-deco-ish. It also has these 30's children's book illustration style rabbit characters (one on the headboard and one on the footboard) that are all laqueredy-crackledy, but not in a Hobby Lobby way, like in an authentic-they'll-probably-kill-my-kids-from-lead-poisoning sort of way. I got it for $40 at a garage sale (when I was only first trying to get pregnant).

It was such a steal that I had to get it, but me and my mom didn't want to jinx me getting pregnant, so we dissassembled it, wrapped the pieces in bedsheets and snuck it into her house where we hid the parts in the backs of three different closets, and didn't tell anyone about it until it was actually a non-crazy-person-appropriate time to shop for a crib.

It's going to Kathleen some day, so that's why I should win.

Thanks to everyone that entered. I will do more giveaways in the future.
