Old Fashioned Perfume

I love vintage perfume bottles and old-fashioned medicine cabinet things - like antique prescription bottles and shaving creams.

I got this perfume at Anthropologie years ago. I like the smell but I love the packaging even more.

It broke a while back (over a year ago) and because I like the way it looks I've hung onto it. It sits nicely in the back of our medicine cabinet and adds to the overall atmosphere in there.

However, for the sake of being organized I've been throwing a lot of stuff away. I should throw this away - or should I?

Where do I draw the line? Any advice? When should I hang on to cool things and when should I toss?

are you freaking kidding me?! when I was a little girl my mom bought my sister and I this EXACT perfume. same smell and everything -it was from a store in disneyland in the area that was supposed to look like new orleans, I still remember it. I kept the bottle for probably 5 or 6 years after it was gone. I still remember the way it smells.

Yes, the wrapper is great! Save it! Maybe you can remove the stopper on top & wash it out then use it as a bud vase?!

@[J] - I LOVE the idea of repurposing this as a little bud vase. Crisis averted - I am keeping this bottle and saving it for the spring.

@Aura - How funny! Go get yourself another bottle from Anthropologie. It was only $18 - which I thought was a total deal.
