J & K started this blog project to document the remodel of their 1929 historical home in the heart of Oklahoma City. It has now turned into a documentation of life, food, fashion, freelance, inspiration, design, adventures and details around the J & K house.
Kathleen works as an award-winning brand consultant and designer specializing in small business branding at Braid Creative & Consulting. Jeremy is a software engineer and is the left-brain to Kathleen’s right.

Evidently, there was a Hoover office upstairs from the Tower Theater at one time. You should see their cool door we uncovered during some light demolition. Great graphics. Thanks for that photo!
Terri - that is fantastic. I would love to see it (and grab a drink!) sometime. Are you still working on the Tower?
I love that building as well. There are many little buildings around town that have those kind of graphics it seems. Maybe built around the same time. But that one stands out for sure. Especially that red color.
I think I also love that it's a vacuum store - just so old school. I'm going to start capturing more cool old buildings.
Yeah, this needs to become a regular feature.
