Orla Kiely for Target

When the Orla Kiely for Target collection was released I was excited, but found that most of the collection didn't fit in with things I wanted or needed.

But this last week this vase appeared in green and brown and I had to have it - not because I really really love the vase (which I do) but because I wanted to have a piece of the Orla Kiely for Target excitement.

Do you ever buy things for the experience?

I LOVE the Orla Kiely items that Target has but I too can't seem to find a use for anything they have right now. I really love the coffee mugs but I already have a million mugs I never use. I am thinking of getting one of the canisters and making myself find a use for it.

Is that vase online? I've been trying to get one for ages but they keep saying you have to buy them in the store...and the Targets in New York? Not so well stocked.

Hallie - I'm right there with you. I considered getting a couple mugs too but opted for the vase instead.

Laura - Bummer. It looks like the vase is only available in stores. Do you have any friends or family out of state that could hook you up?

i was really excited about the orla kiely stuff, too, but the same thing happened to me.

when the go international line started, i insisted on getting a piece from each. i stopped doing that though this past year. there hasn't been anything i've loved!

i'll hold out til they get marc jacobs on the line.
