hell no it's your day to sleep in! sunday we'll get up around 11:00-11:30 and sunday is like our saturday so we stay up late and watch movies and such so we're never up earlier on monday, either.
I like to sleep until 10am and sometimes I do feel guilty for this. Today I also slept until 11:30am and definitely felt guilty because I dogsitting my boyfriend's dog and she probably would have liked to eat and poop earlier.
Don't feel guilty though if it's a rare occurrence. We are but human ;]
Well, you forgot one thing: it's a "holiday" for some. Anything goes on holidays, I'd say... Usually can't sleep past 9-ish, but occasionally zzz until 10/11-ish - then I feel bad, but also refreshed! HA! Can't beat that feeling! :) Cheers, Julie
PS. May I ask about your wedding dress? It is SO cute & I don't mean it in a girlish way...
Our moms are both up and at 'em by 6:30am on the weekends! I would love to be a morning person by nature but I think it will take some training to get there.
Julie - Thank you! Ask away! :)
I try not to sleep past 9, 9:30 at the latest on the weekends. I feel like I should take advantage of my free day to the fullest. I feel SUPER guilty if I sleep in late.
Nah I feel like you should get one free sleep in day a week (unless you have some serious chores to get to). Sometimes people need to stop going 100mph and just slow down and cuddle in bed all day in pjs. I just think that is part of enjoying life. ;) So long as it is an every once in a while thing then i think it is healthy.
I have a two year old, so sleeping in has been out of the question for the past few years. An 11 am wake up call would be a luxury. Enjoy it. Please. It's nice to know someone in the world doesn't have to get up at the crack of dawn. :)
don't feel bad! i know what you mean though... you wanna make the MOST of your weekends. so sleeping in past 9 always feels a bit naughty to me. but also really, really good.
On Sundays I usually sleep in till about 10am. You shouldn't feel bad about it because it's Sunday. :*)
I think from everyone's comments I have decided that 11 is just a tad too late and maybe 9:00 or 10:00 is a good compromise. :)
not guilty -- love it! :)
Don't feel guilty at all! I slept in until 11 today and it felt so good. I love just staying in bed late with my boyfriend and snuggling.
We did get some really good cuddle time in.
