Liz's First Home: Already Rearranged

LizHeader

So Liz has been in her new home for about a month and she's already rearranging (between making her friends cupcakes and hand pies.)

Liz says: I'm getting a new couch delivered in about a month, so naturally I had to move the current couch out immediately and rearrange ALL of my furniture this weekend.

Liz says: Finally utilizing the nesting hatbox-things from West Elm. Mmmm numbers.

Liz says: Seatless chairs are the next big thing, mark my words. Tres chic.
This shot of her rearranged dining room is my favorite. The colors are perfect.

Liz says: Prints from port-2-port press. I stole the white mats and white frames from a set of four letterpress prints I had that I find too colorful to hang in this house right now. Love the layered mat look, and the look of black and white on grey. Also, mad number love.

Liz says: I'm making do until I get my fat new-homeowners check from the Man and can remodel.Ooh! Also one of my favorite wines snuck into the shot- Raw Power Shiraz. And yes I did drink it all by myself.

How often do you guys rearrange your furniture? We don't very often but Liz's obsession with rearranging has me intrigued. And the one time Jeremy and I moved our bed it felt like an entirely new room, which was exciting.

i loooove that desk!

ADORE those hat boxes. I never know what to do with that kind of stuff, but I love them.

hi! i stumbled across your blog yesterday and was sucked in immediately. i can't wait to catch up!

& your friend has a lovely new house -- i love the color of the two chairs w/ the wall color in the living room.

xo, kim

I love how eclectic her home is. I used to rearrange my furniture all the time. Now, that we're moving, I'm guessing, I'll start my old habit again.

What a wonderful home...so light and I love the combination of colors. That desk is somehow very Carrie Bradshaw to me. I always coveted her furniture when that show was on.
