Window Shopping - Pottery Barn

I've been flipping through the new Pottery Barn catalog over breakfast and daydreaming that all of the cozy homes covered in snow and wreaths belong to my parents. Get on it, Mom and Dad.

But this morning I spied this mirror (which in the catalog is layered behind another mirror) and kind of fell in love.

I mean, literally, I gasped. And when Jeremy asked me if everything was okay I spit cereal (Kashi Autumn Wheat) all over his arm as I was enthusiastically showing him the corner of the mirror (tucked behind another mirror) that was now the mirror of my dreams. He wasn't quite as enamored as I was.

I know it's nothing super special but that's kind of what I love about it. It just has this simple, old-school charm.

Hi Kathleen. So I totally have this page dog-eared in the catalog too! I love the mirror and desperately want to hang it in an entryway that I don't have. But, you should totally get it so I can live vicariously through your great style choices!

By the way, I love your blog, just don't comment much. Keep up the great work.

ST - I've probably flipped through the catalog 3 times and somehow missed that mirror until this morning! We have a list of things to buy when we're out of remodel debt (just a lil' bit to go!) - I'll add this mirror to the list.

Aw, shucks. Thank you! It was great to hear from you!

I have been eyeing this mirror for sometime, too! It would get it for above my console, but I wish it was a bit more square - then it would be just perfect! Let us know if you get it!

the way your described was so vivid that i almost relived that excitement ... isn't it funny how sometimes our partner reacted plainly when we got all excited with our own imaginations :D xx

Crystal - I will let you know if I get it (FOR CHRISTMAS, *HINTHINTMOMDADJEREMYWHOEVER). I actually love that it's a more rectangular. You could also hang it on it's side so that it's horizontal.

UnoCosa - haha! I was definitely trying to get across how excited I was! And yes, but there are times when he's super excited over a silly video on YouTube that I just can't quite get into. Haha.
