Dreaming in Color

I dream every single night - and there are some dreams that slip away the instant I wake up and some dreams stay with me for years.

Dreams are never quite as interesting when you describe them and can bore your audience to tears - but a dream I had about my nephew floating from a hot air balloon in Nova Scotia stuck with me. I thought I'd present it as an illustration.

you are awesome.

that's all.

wait... that's not all.

the clouds are my favorite part.

You should start a new blog and do an illustration of your dreams every night, it would be neat. Ps...my dream is to write childrens books, and one of them would be a series about a little girl that travels to different countries in her hot air balloon and eats their weird foods. It would look like this illustration.

Caroline - Thanks! The clouds are my favorite part too! I actually have another drawing in mind based off of them.

Aura - I would have some really creepy and obscene illustrations if I did that. Haha! That children's book idea is really cool. You should do it!

I was just going to confirm that yes, that illustration is fab, and yes, the clouds are The Awesome.

That is lovely :)

I had a dream last night where Chloe could talk and called out 'Mommy! Mommy!'. Wish I could capture how it made me feel and put it in picture, too.

wow, that is an AMAZING illustration, Kathleen!

please post more of your illustrations, I would love to see :)
