I got my brother this calendar for Christmas and was finally able to give it to him when he came home this past weekend. He accidentally left it behind so I get to enjoy it for a while until I meet up with him on his upcoming tour.

I was feeling a little blah about cooking dinner last night and just combined the pasta, cheese and veggies we had at home. It is Kamut and Quinoa pasta - squash, zucchini, garlic and spinach sauteed in olive oil, butter, turmeric and coriander - all mixed together and broiled in the oven with Parmesan and goat cheese for about 10 minutes. It turned out delish and was super easy to make. Next time I might try it with less cheese and get some lemon into the mix.

The dinner you made looks and sounds yummy. I might try to make a vegan version of that.

I have one of those little wooden calendars! It's so cute and I always get compliments on it, but I'm too lazy to ever change it. I only do it when people are coming over :) I think I'm going to just leave it on our anniversary date, because I got it for our one year in Eureka Springs.

And have you tried the Eden Organic spinach ribbons? LOVE. THEM. We tried the spirals this week, and they're not as good. But the ribbons are worth trying. I got mine at Native Roots, if you can't track them down anywhere in the city.

Aura - I finally went to Native Roots last weekend and I LOVE it - the vibe is fantastic - it is just small enough but they have almost all the groceries I need. I'm just going to start doing my grocery shopping on Saturdays when I'm already in Norman spending time with my parents.

I'll definitely try the spinach ribbons. Thanks!

that calendar is sooo cute.
