Chocolate Chip Cookies

We had a hankering for some chocolate chip cookies last night - sprinkled with sea salt on top, of course. I'm not even going to act like we just ate two of these, either.

We chowed down on these cookies while watching Return to the Blue Lagoon - this movie was a lot more fascinating to me as a 9-year-old in 1991. But speaking of girl crushes - add Milla Jovovich to the list.

YUM! I've never tried sea salt on cookies, is that really good??

CaPOW! - The chocolate is a really dark (85%, I think) bar. I usually eat a small square of it (or 3) at night with a glass of wine but it was delicious in cookies.

Hollie - Yum, indeed!

Micah - Yes! The savory salt is a nice contrast to the sweet. All of my friends are now salt-on-cookie converts. Salt is really delish on caramel too.

That first shot looks, great, and I've never had sea salt with chocolate chip cookies, but next time I make them I'm going to have to try it. Thanks for the tip!
