This has been the scene around here for the past 2 days. On Valentine's Day I came down with a nasty virus and have been sweating it out since then. Jeremy did a lovely job taking care of me. I'm feeling much better and will resume to normal life (and blog posting) tomorrow.

I know I can be a little dramatic but does anyone else feel like it's the end of the world when you come down with a fever?

Aside from a smoothie and an apple with peanut butter this is the first solid food I've had in a couple of days. Kamut and Quinoa noodles with a dash of olive oil, butter, and lots of pepper and Parmesan. My stomach handled it like a champ but I think I'll stick with apples and peanut butter for the rest of the day. What is your go-to comfort food when you're sick?

My comfort food is mac and cheese and ginger ale. Also some type of cold treat like popsicles or ice cream. I had the flu in December so I can sympathize with ya! Hope you feel better soon :) I highly recommend taking some flu pills they really help even if you still feel awful its amazing how much worse you feel when they wear off.

soup with crusty bread with butter or pasta.
recently found your blog am enjoying it immensely. thanks for sharing.
Feel better soon.

I stick with the classic, i guess: chicken soup. For breakfast, lunch and dinner. For days in a row.

Get better soon!

I have been sick for two weeks now. First the flu, and now a horrible head, chest, thing. The two pictures you posted were amazing. Total comfort. It made me feel bad about my comfort spot.

Glad you are feeling better.

I can't answer these questions because I literally don't remember the last time I was sick. BOO YA!
:P
