Veggie Gardening: Seed Operation

Check out this jankity little seed operation we've got going on here. I couldn't decide if I wanted to start my seeds indoors and transplant later or just start outdoors - but here we are. With a beer palette full of dirt and seeds housed on the guest bed where it will get lots of daylight.

For the next couple of weeks we will continue to water and cross our fingers.

Looks a little bit like a candy shop operation you have going on there.
: )

this is hilarious. Good luck :) I am sure it will be great. We are exactly in the same place right now. We are doing a little of both.

my seeds grew seemingly overnite. It's so interesting to watch them grow. Good luck! :]

"Jankity" was on NPR's Way with Words a few weeks ago. I had never heard it before, but now I've heard/seen it twice in a matter of weeks. :)

Hollie - I hope mine can do the same!

Jeannine - I've also heard it used as "janky" but "jankity" seems to have more emphasis. :)

what a lovely blog you have! so glad i found it :)

also, i'm bummed that i didn't know about your wedding invites when i was getting married! they look great!

Hilarious. It looks like you're growing little Newcastles. Fingers crossed!

my husband decided to start seeds this year indoor. he set up a table, lamps on 2x4s and seed trays in a guest bedroom. glad to see we're not the only ones. his parents arrive tomorrow. operation has been moved to garage. pam
