Dinahsaur vs. Kitty

Sometimes people think we only have one cat because clearly Scooty Boots is our favorite Scooty and Dinahsaur are twins and it just gets confusing which is which. Dinahsaur has been stepping it up lately with her own quirky personality.
See exhibit A. The other day 101 Cats was on Animal Planet and Dinahsaur was as fascinated as we were and sat on that spot to watch the TV for at least 30 minutes. The laser-eye show-down occurred during an especially cute kitty moment - Dinahsaur can be a little bitter and jealous at times.

AHAHA!!
This is awesome!
Question, what kind of litter do you use? I'm on the search for an eco-friendly litter that my 3 cats will use.
Margie - We use The World's Best Cat Litter (http://www.worldsbestcatlitter.com/) I hate the smell of fragrant cat litter and this has no odor at all.
With two cats we (and by 'we' I mean Jeremy) clean it out twice a day so it's never stinky.
Hmm, interesting.
I tried Yesterday's News, made from recylced paper, and my cats hated it. It was more pellet-like. Currently it's Swheat litter. It's a little stinky despite cleaning it out 3 times a day. I have Arm & Hammer Natural on deck. I'm going to give your recommendation a try though.
Thanks for the tip. :)
I mean... if your cat takes a poo and refuses to cover it it's going to stink (YOU HEARD ME SCOOTY BOOTS) - and we've tried a few different kinds and have stuck with this one.
Let me know how it works for you.
This is rad!
With the SWheat, they cover it but it's a little stinky. I can smell that distinct cat urine stench. With Yesterday's News, they sent me a message they hated it by just scooping out of the box. (I got the message.) I'll be cleaning out the box today and using the Arm & Hammer Natural Essentials. I've just located a store nearby that sells World's Best Cat Litter. I'll let you know what my findings out.
BOOO to clay litter!
Oh yeah, you better BELIEVE I'm chiming in on this: WBCL is exactly what it claims to be. It out-performs clumping clay litter, and all the other types of clumping litter I've tried. SWheat Scoop was decent, but the absolute worst part was the dust! Give it a few weeks and your entire room will be covered in Swheat dust. WBCL is probably the most expensive, but it's definitely worth it if you can't put the litter box in the garage or some other faraway place. Better clumping, good odor control, and very little dust!
Hey WBCL! Let's talk about a sponsorship already! :)
You have a cat named Dinah-saur?! How do I miss these things?!
Kelly
Kelly - Yes, yes we do. It's because we're usually only talking about Scooty Boots. He's usually the only one doing interesting things.
I love kitty death-stare-showdowns!! My dad's cat gets pretty territorial especially when it comes to TV animals.. it's quite funny. If she's watching a show and the TV cat does any quick movement ( she usually isn't prepared for it) she'll get all pissed off and go right up to the tv to hiss and swat at it.
It gets pretty hilarious when you watch America's Funniest Home Videos!!
@B-Log-I cleaned out the SWheat litter yesterday and am using the Arm & Hammer Essentials. So far, I find it a little stinky. Once I'm done with the bag I'll move onto WBCL. I'm really looking forward to it.
Margie - Just to clarify B-log is Jeremy. Yesterday as I was approving this comment I called Jeremy over and was all "this person is REALLY passionate about WBCL!" and then discovered it was him. Ha!
Ahahahahahaha!!!
Sneaky! But, I'm sold. I'm looking forward to the A&H one running out already.
Ahahahaha!
Sneaky! However, I'm sold. I'm looking forward to the A&H running out.
Sponsorship!
My cat, who has never shown any previous interest in the TV, is also obsessed with Cats 101! What is it about that show?
Margie, yes. B-Log is me, Jeremy. That was the name of a test blog I was messing around with once. No idea why it would make that my name for comments. Anyway, let us know how the WBCL works out for you. And don't pull any punches for our sake. ;)
haha!
those photos make me want a kitty.
You got it, Jeremy.
