Goodbye, nine-to-five

KathleenThirdDegree
The photo above is a (rare) candid snap of me at work. But in this moment I wasn't really working at all. I was reading an email from Jeremy - we were falling in love.

Today is my last day of nine-to-five work. Third Degree Advertising has given me a wealth of experience and has turned me into an award-winning Senior Art Director. This place has been my second home for almost five years and my coworkers are like family. They've seen me laugh, cry, go from red to black to blond and have watched me grow up.

I am so very thankful.

And I'm so very excited for what's next.

That picture is adorable.

I wish you so much luck and happiness on the next phase of your life.

This post made my day.

Thanks, Margie. That's sweet.

Congrats and good luck!

I always say that it's 75% who you work with.

Luck! Luck! Luck!

Congrats! I remember feeling so ready for the jump and assured and excited during my last day in midtown Manhattan pre-self employment. You are soooo ready for the next phase. I'm excited to see you and your work grow, grow, grow!

Congratulations and much luck on an exciting day!

Congrats on all of your success, and cheers to your rockin' future! xoxo.

how exciting! you're a lucky girl; i would absolutely love to leave my 8 to 5 job in okc (but don't tell my boss yet). i've recently discovered your blog and i look forward to following your success :)

Congratulations! You have vision and obviously talent! I wish you the best of luck.

Also happy to see your veggies are thriving! Yay! Hail be damned!

It sounds like you've accomplished a lot and have many things to be proud of. Can't wait to see what happens next here on the blog!

I'm so excited for you! I've been nannying while I go to school this semester, and I can't wait to be done in the next few weeks. Then I'm off to take a photo class in Northern California and visit my family before leaving for Africa to do media there for a non profit. I can't wait for the feeling inside me when I'm walking to my car on the last day of work...NEXT ADVENTURE PLEASE!

good luck!

I know Third Degree will miss you like crazy! Congratulations on this new adventure...I know you will be fabulous!

Best of luck!
