J & K started this blog project to document the remodel of their 1929 historical home in the heart of Oklahoma City. It has now turned into a documentation of life, food, fashion, freelance, inspiration, design, adventures and details around the J & K house.
Kathleen works as an award-winning brand consultant and designer specializing in small business branding at Braid Creative & Consulting. Jeremy is a software engineer and is the left-brain to Kathleen’s right.

Ashley - you were hypnotized by that fire Jeremy is holding. It was drawing you in. Shortly thereafter you took over chiminea duties.

love those lights! i had 'em strung up for my wedding (which took place at my parents' restaurant) and they ended up keeping them up for good!

This looks like so much fun. I wish our fence was this nice (we are in a rental and the fence is falling over almost). Our back yard is a missmash of weeds and grass it's just not classy but we hate to put a ton of money into a home we don't own so we hang on the front porch.
Kelly - these photos are deceiving because our actual backyard is pretty sad. I've done zero landscaping - but hope to do more in the next few months.
