J & K started this blog project to document the remodel of their 1929 historical home in the heart of Oklahoma City. It has now turned into a documentation of life, food, fashion, freelance, inspiration, design, adventures and details around the J & K house.
Kathleen works as an award-winning brand consultant and designer specializing in small business branding at Braid Creative & Consulting. Jeremy is a software engineer and is the left-brain to Kathleen’s right.

This intrigues me but at the same time makes me want to throw up.
I can't decide which will win out in the end.
I must get some natural PB ASAP!
I ran out of my natural stuff about a year ago and I haven't been back for more (they have a machine that grinds up peanuts on the spot and you just fill a container with the mashed peanuts - so good!)so Ive been eating kraft... I know...
I eat steel cut oatmeal every morning at work, with a sliced banana mixed in and some cinnamon. I've been eating this same breakfast at my desk 5 times a week for almost a year now and I still look forward to it every morning...it's absolutely delicious.
ummm I forgot to mention that the reason this makes me want to throw up is because the texture of oatmeal often makes me want to gag despite the fact that I love it.
Just thought I'd mention that your food doesn't actually disgust me!
mmmm. heaven!

Umm. I love oatmeal too! Try raw sugar, raw almonds, and dry cranberries. It's amazing
Emily - ha! I figured it was a texture thing and not that my food looked like vomit (though sometimes is does).
Just A Girl - YUM! I'm going to have to try that.
omg - this is Velizar's fave breakfast .... yummmy! xx
Three of my favs!! Never thought of combining, but this will be my breakfast in the morning! Thank you.
Sounds delightful! Totally going to try this, thanks!
Mmm, we do oatmeal here almost every single morning!
This morning we had oatmeal with a little milk & dark maple syrup. Oh, and I cooked it up with some cinnamon and ginger.
Sometimes I cook blueberries right in. So tasty.
