If you're new to this little blog of mine and don't already know - my brother is a sideshow performer who goes by the name Donny Vomit. He's currently on tour with the Pretty Things Peepshow and they made their way through our neck of the woods just in time for Thanksgiving. And they put on a show.

b.
My last name isn't really Vomit.

c.
Tools of the trade. Most of these things go in Donny's nose, as he is known as The Human Blockhead.

d.
Donny's beautiful sword swallowing partner-in-crime, Miss Heather Holliday.

My sister says it best: I also kept getting all weepy. I was just so dang proud. And it was so cool standing right there in the wings, Kathleen and I side-by-side. Equally tipsy in our tonic-induced bliss. And just knowing that we loved Donny more than anyone in the room. Our glasses may have been quickly emptied, but our hearts were full. Our hearts were so full is the only way I can describe it.

Love this. I love when other siblings love each other so much. Warms my heart.

that's so fun. i'm glad your last name isn't vomit.

I forgot about the "Reserved For The Vomit Family" table topper. That was the best part!

I just imagined a baby Babu Vomit and laughed out loud. That would be a good one.

Congrats on your late uterine, um, expulsion? How sweet of mother nature to wait until you'd descended. She would hold out for me like that. No way.

this made me smile. then get a little teary. I love being proud of people, friends, siblings etc.
Go Donny!

I feel the same way about my brother! So proud of everything he has accomplished in his life (including marrying a wonderful girl) and I can't wait to see what happens next!

I think I love it so much simply because you get to say your brother is sideshow performer. How awesome is that?

I would be proud too. I think that is really neat.

This post made me feel unreasonably happy. :)

I'm still bummed I missed the show. Everyone who was going to go with me flaked out at the list minute, and so I just stayed home :(
