A slice of life.

PhonesnapsA
When we're not posing and cooking we're lounging. cuddling. packing. laundering.

PhonesnapsB
We're standing beside our friends as they get married.

PhonesnapsC
We're driving and dueting.

PhonesnapsD
We're figuring out ways to turn daydreams into realities.

IMG_0044
We're family. We're stuffing cats in bags. And from time to time we're witnessing a beautiful Oklahoma sunset.

PhonesnapsE
We're laughing and interrupting and empathizing and commiserating.

It would be impossible to document them all - but these are the real life moments, big and small that I've been lucky enough to capture. A glimpse of life to fill in the gaps between big adventures and carefully art directed details. The snapshots that might not translate over to paper but make us who we are every single day.

4 Locos! ahhh!!! So yummy.

http://meanmaharani.blogspot.com/

I had never even heard of Four Loco before they were banned! I opted for wine instead.

Kathleen, I've been reading your blog on my Google Reader but I had to hop over here and comment. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, positive, and humble entry with us :)

Love it! I didn't realize Jeremy and I sort of coordinated during our karaoke duet.

Lovely.

Yes. This.

I like the cat's Madonna mole.

Also, my bras suddenly feel embarrassingly boring.

Kelly

Kelly - The cat up top on the right is Dinahsaur and she has the perfect Madonna mole. On the left is Scooty and he has a half-moustache! They match.

Oh 4 Loco. I tried that the other night but couldn't do it. Have you seen the funny SNL skit about it yet?

When I discovered your blog I read it from start to finish and have been an avid reader ever since.

And as much as I love all your pro-photography and editing and the way your life seems to be so very glamourous THIS post is why I love you so much, even though I've never met you! You are so REAL! You make me want to move down the road from you so we can be neighbours and catch up for a glass (or bottle :P) of wine and a good ol' chat and then I can stagger home *sigh*

You are such a lovely, wonderfully creative, crazy, hilarious, fantastic, driven, insired and inspiring woman. Keep being who you are - it's just the BEST!

Aesophia - That is quite possibly the nicest comment I've ever received. And I have to admit - I feel the exact same way about so many bloggers and readers alike. I've made friends with so many people I haven't even met (yet) through this little blog world.

Please - if you are ever driving through OKC or I'm coming through your neck of the woods let's catch up over a glass (okay, bottle) of wine for sure.

I went to comment on this post, and realized Aesophia has already voiced my exact sentiments. And she doesn't even know you in "real life". That's how much this blog radiates the Kathleen vibe. Which is a pretty incredible vibe, if you were to ask me.

I love who you are. :)

I love this post! Heartwarming.

Is that James Harber in one of the last pictures? I kind of know him - friend of a friend, but I thought I recognized him! Lol. Merry Christmas!

Ashley - that's him! James is a good friend of mine! Love him.

How funny! I met him once or twice through the Hillhouse family (who you probably don't know). Love your blog. I've been reading since it was just about your house renovation. I love that area of OK where you live. We're in Edmond and I was just complaining to my husband that everything is too cookie cutter and I want our next house to have character! Enjoy a non-blizzard Christmas this year!
