Hello, Twenty-Eleven.

This is what I look like - in the form of an infographic.
In 2010 I did a lot of soul-searching to figure out the person I am and laid some serious foundation for the person I want to be. I don't necessarily have any resolutions but I have spent the past few days visualizing what 2011 (and the rest of my life, really) will look like. It breaks down into 3 categories:![]()
DESIGN & CREATIVITY:
• Freelance Career / And Kathleen Design Co.
• Graphic / Interior / Fashion Design
• Design in the Details
• The Blog / Capturing & Documenting a Creative Life![]()
FOOD & HEALTH:
• What We Eat / Vegetarian / Local / Vegan?
• Strength / Endurance / Flexibility![]()
ADVENTURE & LOVE:
• Adventure Big & Small
• Seeing the World Near & Far ![]()
I typically approach life with gut-feelings and reckless abandon - but breaking it down and analyzing it into these categories helps me focus. It keeps me from coasting and settling for anything less than a life filled to the brim with passion. It's hard to make any resolutions on one specific day because I feel like I'm constantly finding something new to strive for - I live for that hunt.
So. In 2011 I will continue to live a passionate and creative life and I will continue to share it with you all - day by day.

I like this phrase:
" In 2011 I will continue to live a passionate and creative life and I will continue to share it with you all - day by day "
Love your blog.

as a visual person and an avid organizer. These categorized goals make perfect sense to me. I never make resolutions because they're too intimidating and it ties me down to commit to a particular thing, but I like your spin on your goal visualization. Good luck in 2011!
my dear friend ... vel and i were talking about the bubbles in life and how small ones merge together and become bigger one ... and we will trying to envision how our life would be when all those small bubbles get together ...
what you wrote are so much aliened with our conversation and i could not agree more on balancing creativity, health, food, love and adventure together!!! great life ahead, indeed, and day by day.
xx
Li - I'm so glad you get it! When I was first visualizing this concept of areas of our lives being a part of one I thought of a pie chart... But a Venn digram seemed to make so much more sense - the overlaps between these areas can't be ignored.
a brilliant and beautiful state to aspire to! your blog is truly a bottomless font of inspiration.
Thank you, Kathleen!
