Girl Crush: Lady Gaga

GirlCrushGaga

Well. You guys probably saw this coming from a million miles away. I have a huge girl crush on Lady Gaga. It first started when I spent an evening watching Gaga videos on YouTube with my friends - like this. And then there was her performance of Paparazzi at the MTV VMAs in 2009 - I think it was then that I fell really hard. And if you haven't seen it yet her video for Born This Way was just released this week. Her music is okay - but what really fascinates me is her character. Her unapologetic dedication to creativity. The kind of maintenance that goes into being that over-the-top amazing 24/7 is just impressive.

Your turn - who are you all girl crushing on right now?

agreed. the woman is brilliant. yup. a girl crush has been goin' on over here for awhile. glad to know i'm not the only one. xxo

EMMA. WATSON.

Everyone at Tomboy Style.

Wow, Rath - that might be my new favorite blog. Thanks for the link.

holy cats! that first video from paris made me cream my jeans. wow!

i was so exicted i forgot...michelle williams is my lady crush of the moment.

Eva Green!! I might have said that last time, but we just watched Kingdom of Heaven and OHHH. Love her. Something just off but oh so right.

I remember when Wednesday nights consisted of watching youtube videos. Good times!

Mila Kunis - did you see her at the Oscars? HOT

Mila Kunis is so intriguing - I can't believe she dated MacCauley Culkin for years!

Audrey Tatou, grorgeous with enough quirkiness to keep you interested.
Florence Welch, amazing voice and style.

Definitly Lady Gaga for several years now, she's brilliant and wonderful. Emma Watson is amazing and such a cutie! I love Scarlett Johansson, she's so voluptuous and sexy! And Milla Jovavich has been a big one since The 5th Element first came out, Leeloo will always be one of my favorite characters and she's so beautiful!

I kind of adore Helena Bonham Carter and her commitment to dressing badly because it's sort of expected of her now. I love her attitude and that she just doesn't seem to care what anyone thinks of what she's wearing or doing. When I'm that age, I hope to have the same self-confidence.

Is and always will be Drew Barrymore. My second is Marilyn Monroe. Rawwrrr!

Not into Gaga, sorry. But I am into the rocker-boho vibe over at Earth Age: http://earth-age.blogspot.com/

xo.

I'm a BIG no to Lady Gaga. I find her offensive.

She really is exhaustingly creative! It's incredible, I don't know how someone could not be impressed with her.
I'm with you on the music but when she's on, you just have to look.

Where to begin!?

Helena Bonham Carter forever and always... and definitely Natalie Portman - even more so now that she's all glowy and knocked up :)

I loved Gaga's interview in Vogue this month. Bottomless pit of creativity. She just can't turn it off, nor should she. And... Mila Kunis is pretty smokin in Black Swan!

oh geez. just realized I commented with my husbands work email address. yeah, the dwelltek one. if you could not publish it, that would be great. sorry, haha!
