Week. End.

BootsMouse

Every time Friday rolls around I feel like I've really deserved my weekend. I've been feeling productive - like a well-oiled machine - but I'm the engine and I need some more gas. But not the kind that makes me fart - just in case that's what you were thinking.

THIS WEEK:
Braid.
• Client meetings over coffee.
• Reading, reading, reading.
Cooking.
• Rachel Zoe, Flipping Out & True Blood.
• Dinner parties.
• Green tea and red wine.
• Email. Design. Write. Email. Design. Phone call. Write. Email. Design.
Working out.

THIS WEEKEND:
• Family.
• Rock climbing.
• Sleeping in.
• Reading.
• Lazy coffee.
• Researching adventures.

How has your week been? What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Look at that helpful kitty butt!

I love this post, and now I'm kinda wanting to steal this idea. Maybe in the new year.

My week was: DEMANDING.

My weekend will be: WRITING.

I'm on a mission to finish the 'front of the book' materials and to make a dent in the 15 recipes I need to write to catch up. yikes.

Also, it's Dave's half birthday on Monday, so we're enjoying a celebratory dinner on Saturday night.

Hugs!

I forgot to tell you when you posted the other day, but the Braid site is jaw-dropingly beautiful - absolutely flawless.

My weekend? Well, I'm looking forward to baking and - wait for it - doing my math homework. I've been a total geek since classes resumed, but I suppose it's better than being the opposite.

Enjoy your much deserved weekend!

This week has been so busy that I don't feel like I can think about weekend fun yet! So first is a little relaxation and Rachel Zoe catch up. Then I there will be some working on our currently demolished kitchen, a dinner party- not at our place, sleeping in, and definitely a bloody mary thrown in there.

I will be sleeping in and reading ... No "plans" are the best plans :)

Do you own your own rock climbing shoes? If so, which ones and do you like them?

Mel - Please do! I'd love to see your week / weekend posts. I love that you guys celebrate half birthdays. I may have to steal THAT idea!

Ashlae - Thank you so much! We're so excited about Braid. Jeremy just started an engineering grad school class so he's been geeking out on the weekends too. xo!

Kat - Rachel Zoe is such a lovely guilty pleasure. I love her Zoe-isms. So far this season I've picked up "trust."

Laura - Oh, sleeping in is divine.

Melinda - I do! I have a pair of 5.10s - you definitely need to try them on in person before you invest in a pair.
