ReplyDelete...off to stalk some boards...
I keep hearing everyone talk about this site and use it but I still have no idea what it is or what its purpose is. Guess I should check out your video ;)
ReplyDeleteI love Pinterest!! It's totally changed my favorite weekend morning ritual - planning what to cook and browsing through links upon links or stacks of books and magazines with a giant cup of coffee. I mostly use it for recipes, though as of late it's come quite in handy for ring shopping/browsing!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you're on there too! Kelly over at Design Crush's boards have been blowing my mind lately - excited to peruse through your boards!

ReplyDeleteI was a long-time lurker on Pinterest before I forced myself to pin things to curb my horrid drag-everything-to-massive-catchall-desktop-inspiration-folder habit. I've enjoyed following your pins over on Braid, great to see what inspires other creatives! My account is:

I've also been a long-time lurker here on your blog, and have loved reading it every day on my lunch break. Please keep up the awesomeness! You have a beautiful way of sharing yourself over the interwebz that makes me feel like I've known you for ages. :)
Oh, I like Pinterest so much!

I was a lurker from the very beginning and finally forced myself to start pinning things to kick my nasty drag-to-massive-folder-on-desktop habit. I've loved following your pins on Braid! My account is:

I've also been a lurker on your blog (notice a trend here?) and have loved reading it on my lunch break every day! You have an awesome way of sharing yourself over the interwebz that makes me feel like I've known you for ages. Keep up the awesomeness, please.
And don't mind the either repeated comments and/or deleted ones...Blogspot and I are getting along just fabulously. Clearly. ;)
Yay! I'm glad you guys are sending me your links.
ReplyDeleteAmy - I'm so glad you delurked! Feel free to comment anytime. Let's be friends.
I have so much fun with Pintarest...it's such a good spot for storing ideas and inspiration. I use it to remember recipes, log clothing ideas, document cycling things I like and home design...
ReplyDeleteI'm here: http://pinterest.com/stephanova/
I am hopelessly addicted to Pinterest! My pin categories include "Glamour," "Dachshund Kisses," "My Happy Tummy," "Tattoo Scrapbook," "Retro Love," "My Darling Drew (Drew Barrymore)," and many, many more! I search the internet now with my Pinterest eyes open.
ReplyDeleteSeriously I am addicted as well. It is such a great tool for resource in design and around the house, Gosh I use it for recipes and fashion too.
ReplyDeleteFollow me!:)

I love Pinterest so much. I use to save crafty project ideas, recipes, hair styles, and design inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI'm also using it more to pin videos. Since I don't have a YouTube acct. it's a great way for me to save things that I find. One of my hobbies is belly dancing, so use Pinterest to save videos of choreography that I like.
Here's me: http://pinterest.com/mellieb/
I have always been the person that dreams of being crafty, but I can't seem to execute. Pinterest has made it so easy to find tutorials and I've actually made a lot of stuff that I've pinned!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to follow you and see what inspires you!

ReplyDeleteIt's been an evolving love for me, I started out going there just to declutter my computer of interior design ideas (so many folders on my hard drive!) but now I use for cooking, DIY ideas, and I even got my last haircut idea off there. I love it!
I have a board for fashion and beauty, a board for tattoos, a board for home stuff (I definitely have two pictures from your house in that one!), a board for holidays/parties, and a board for food!

I love pinning food and furniture! I am a sucker for all of the colorful things you all put on the Braid boards as well.

I mostly pin diy and decor inspiration. Here recently, holiday inspiration has taken over my pins. There are just so many wonderful ideas that can be done on a budget.

I pin my personalized lip balm, colorful tights and dreamy vacation spots. Pure happiness!

I am proud to say I've gotten a lot of people at work addicted to pinning. Bwahaha to productivity.

I love Pinterest too and mostly use it to post everything from graphic design inspiration to decorating ideas. I love being able to bookmark things without have to bookmark them in my browser.
ReplyDeleteMy boards are here: http://pinterest.com/tiffany_dorrin/
I love it too--so addicting. It amazes me how HOURS pass while I am just looking at other peoples' pins. https://pinterest.com/abergop/ (And uh, yeah, I stole your haircut.)
ReplyDeleteAmy
I love me some Pinterest. I love making boards to collect ideas for a specific project, or a board of various project ideas. I'm a very visual thinker, so as far as I'm concerned Pinterest was designed just for me. I also have a board just for ideas I see that I know my BFF would like. So much easier than tagging her on lots of different things.

I have made so many friends and I love pinning all that inspires me design, food and fashion. Love it. I feel like I've manifested so many cool things as a result of pinterest.

I've been following Braid ever since I recently got pinterest. I pin mostly decor, fashion, diy and recipes: http://pinterest.com/vnleblanc/
ReplyDeleteI am following Braid! I spend far too much time on Pinterest. I'm mostly pinning food, things to make, and home spaces.
ReplyDeleteHere are my boards: http://pinterest.com/_lisli/
I've only recently started using pinterest, it's great for planning parties, outfits, organizing links, etc. I love browsing through all of the amazing travel photography as well! Here's my link: http://pinterest.com/amynicoled/
ReplyDeleteHere's mine: http://pinterest.com/marygooseman/
ReplyDeleteI already follow you, and can I just say: I love that you contribute so much to pinterest. And by contribute, I mean actively collecting, researching etc. I think this was the original intent of the site, and sometimes I get bogged down in the repinning. I love that I can see what ideas you're researching and into at the moment.
i'm a pinterest addict. You can find me at: http://pinterest.com/rolerkite/
ReplyDeleteI like to pin things for my boyfriend to buy me and accidentally leave my account open. I pin gift ideas for others too, so when birthdays come around I have a whole list of items that remind me of a person. I also pin inspirational design, houses, style, places I want to visit, recipes and just about anything that my crazy mind wants to reference.
I love pinterest. It totally suits my way of browsing. I do pin a lot when it comes to event ideas, art and design or interior design.
ReplyDeleteMy pinterest is: http://pinterest.com/ramonasebald/
Mary - here, here, on the original intent of the site. While we're on the topic of pinning, does anyone else get chafed by all the "thinspiration" pictures on pinterest? It's such a powerful tool to get people jazzed - and I love that it can inspire folks toward their goals, but sometimes I think it can take people down unhealthy rabbit holes.
ReplyDeleteI pin at http://pinterest.com/arathke/
Rath - I've fallen down that rabbit hole myself and I just noticed recently they added "fitness" as a category. But for some people awesome food photos of bacon wrapped pears or fancy mac & cheese might be just as triggering as "thinspiration" shots. And at that point it kind of becomes the viewer's responsibility to decide not to go down that rabbit hole. But I hear ya.
ReplyDeletePinterest rocks my socks! I'm already following Braid, but you can follow me here:
ReplyDeletehttp://pinterest.com/yellowbrickhome/
My favorite things are home-y related items, anything fluffy with four legs, and art. Lots of art. However, I'm stingy with my pins, as I dislike "clutter"!
ADORE Pinterest!
