Stripes and frames.

Red stripes, via Desire to Inspire.

I think this is rad, but had I seen it before we painted our hallway I think I would've been scared off. There is something about the black and white that is just a little more classic, a little more... as subtle as having black and white stripes in your hallway can be.


Frame arrangement, also via Desire to Inspire.

I love this frame arrangement. I've also seen beautiful images of a cluster of frames cascading down from the top of the wall at the ceiling. I also really like how the frames aren't completely uniform. And check out those tiny bits of recessed lighting. And that gorgeous wall sconce! This entire image is just perfection.


Here is our frame wall so far. I bought two more cases of frames in order to get the entire wall as packed. I need to remember to play with placement and overall composition once I have all the frames filled and ready to go up.
