And yes, it does involve "toy blocks" that we will not be referring to as Legos - just in case there are legality issues with that sort of thing.
a work in progress.
So all of this creativity being spent at work leaves me little energy to do anything but watch The Hills and play Resident Evil 5 (or Peggle) with Jeremy.
We did make an awesome dinner the other night.
Fish Tacos
Tilapia seasoned with chile caribe, cabbage, avocado, red onion, mango, cheese, tomato, jalapenos, corn tortilla.
It was truly delicious and left me feeling a little less stressed.
So I want to know: how do you deal with work stress and not taking it home with you?
is it just me or does your lego man look like Jeremy?
ReplyDeleteYes! That TOY BLOCK man does look like Jeremy. He's my muse.
ReplyDeleteI tried to sneak my plate of fish tacos into that photo. No dice. :(
ReplyDeleteDear Moms, we wouldn't really smoke cigarettes in Paris. But we would eat croissants.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a very busy position, well I still do, but my last was busier in a more frustrating way. To alleviate stress and leave it go, I'd drive fast. I'm talking balls to the wall, leave your stomach behind fast. The kind of fast where if it were physically possible to leave it all behind, you'd be doing good to go about 15 mph faster if your pedal could sink beneath the floorboard.
ReplyDeleteHowever, if you are subject to cardiac distress or carsickness, I suggest a colorful drink, a good romp or a walk in a pretty part of town.
Love your blog,
Jes and Neil
OH SORRRY... yes, TOY BLOCK Jeremy... love the pocket square!
ReplyDeleteJes - Oh! I like to drive fast too but my car is so slooowww. I have to hop in Jeremy's VW GTI to go fast - and I do. :)
ReplyDeleteI like to run and sweat it out at the gym to relieve stress and decompress.
I do too, it makes you feel better, and in turn you work better

i feel like i'm not in a position at work to really take any work stress home with me. the only thing is that i feel like i should be constantly working and feel guilty when i'm not, even if it's the weekend. this is due to the fact that i work for my parents who are workaholics and do work every single day.
