For the love of Typography

Pretty much me and all of my friends are total nerds about Typography. Yes, really.

I got a new catalog in the mail from Emigre yesterday featuring Mrs Eaves - one of my (totally trendy) favorites.

Mrs Eaves was named after Baskerville's live in housekeeper, whom he later married.

I was actually inspired by the layout of this spread. I love the cream and white with black and red type. I think I might even frame it.

    YOU DON'T KNOW ME :) This should be your new motto. I love typography, too. I get excited about new fonts. haha

    I'm a nerd about typography, too. I didn't realize it until I was able to point and name certain fonts on billboards and print ads. Then I felt like a geek for knowing these things.

    Aura - You don't EVEN know me! Hahaha! I get into such a rut and use the same typeface over and over. You should watch the documentary Helvetica. Parts of it are boring but if you're a font nerd you'll love it.
