Liz's First Home: The Trim

LizHeader

Liz has been a homeowner for 6 days and has made a little bit of progress on the place.

She's starting out by painting the rooms that don't need any major renovations (bedrooms, living room and dining room). And that begins with the trim.

You can see the big ol' IKEA bag full of goodies Jeremy and I brought over filled with things like caulk for patching up hardware holes and leaky windows.

All of the trim in the house is getting a fresh coat of white. It's boring and not as dramatic as painting the walls but it's necessary.

Stay tuned for a house tour chock full of "before" photos.

  2. Sara - yes, the floors are amazing! They're stained dark but with a really shiny polyurethane finish that brings a lot of light into the place.

Ha! We really just show up for photo-ops. She's doing all the work. ;)

  3. I already love this house...the fireplace is amazing! I always have fireplace envy because ours is fake. I call it the Home Creations fireplace.
