This after shot isn't too impressive and is a lot less dramatic than I thought it would be but I did get a lot done in here. I have a sack of clothes ready to be donated, a bin of winter things put away and everything in it's place. I think in order for it to look how I want it to I would need a wardrobe that consists of nothing more than black, white, grey and mustard colored clothes.
I also got my boots stored for the summer by stuffing them with plastic sacks to keep their form.
ALSO! Since I had emptied the closet Jeremy was able to insulate the attic door (which is in my closet) and get up into the attic to finally wire our FADO light hanging over the breakfast nook.
(You'll have to excuse this candid, un-art directed shot.)
At the end of a long day we enjoyed some grilled portabello mushroom burgers with goat cheese, mustard, lettuce, tomato and grilled kaiser buns.
I have been talking (mostly to myself!) for years about redoing my closet, but have always put it off. Looking at your closet makes me realize I could just hang a rod and use some shelving I already have and it could be great and so much more functional. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had that space, because mine is that big but I have to share with my husband.
ReplyDeleteI need a bigger house too ;-)
