This weekend we broke 61 days of 100+ heat. I welcomed the crisp mornings with open arms but was shocked to find the cooler weather left me feeling a little uneasy, a little anxious. Maybe I'm still young enough that with Fall comes the anticipation of a new school year. New curriculum. New friends. New firsts.
Cut-offs - Paper, Denim & Cloth
Tank - Urban Outfitters
Sequin Bolero - F21
Boots - Justin c/o Langston's Western Wear
Belt - Target
It's been in the low 70's here when I wake up, which unfortunately feels cold after 3 months of 110 temps. Anyway, weather is lame-o.
ReplyDeleteI like your hair darker like this.
I've been out of school for 20+ years now, and I still expect fall to bring new directions. Also, I still look through 'Back to School' stuff to see if I need anything. Protractor? Compass? New eraser?
ReplyDeleteyou are so freaking cute. i love your cowboy boots, they are some of my fave boots to wear!
ReplyDeletealso, i have NO idea how you deal with that heat. it was about 80 here a bit ago and i was dying!!!!
Wow! 61 days of 100 heat that is brutal. It's in the mid-high 90's here but the humidity is just disgusting.
ReplyDeleteDefiantly loving that top, I am so into sequins.
Mm. LOVE the bangs. Sitting by you tonight will be extra delicious.
ReplyDeleteADORE THE BANGS!
ReplyDeletePhew! I'm glad we can all agree that the heat has been brutal in the south this summer.
ReplyDeleteDavid - I still longingly peruse the school supplies aisles in the grocery store. I'm just looking for an excuse to use a protractor. I guess it's a good thing I'm an artist for a living.
Ashley & Nicole - Thanks for the bangs compliments! They're growing out so I'm really tempted to chop them as they get in my eyes. But I've never had long bangs! So I'm going to tough it out. I'll approach it like a science experiment. ;)
Kathleen, you look SO cute with bangs! I love them. And this whole outfit. Who knew cowboy boots and sequins could work so well together? Well, besides you.
