Coyne Manor

One of the cool things about living in Oklahoma City is that Wayne Coyne lives here too.

The New York Times featured the house of The Flaming Lips‘ Wayne Coyne and his wife Michelle Martin-Coyne last week in the Home and Garden section.

This style of house is my FAVORITE. There are probably a dozen or so scattered throughout our area.


Look at that kitchen! From the linoleum to the light fixture... rad.

Jeremy was telling me they deck out their house for Halloween. We're going to have to check it out.

When we were house hunting we toured what we like to call a "ghetto mansion" that was literally around the corner from the Coyne compound. It had a beautiful porch and awesome pocket doors throughout the house. The house needed A LOT of work that we just weren't willing to take on.
