We don't have a lot of ornaments this year - we kind of blew our budget on the tree alone. However, the tree alone is beautiful enough as is. We're also waiting to stock up on day-after-Christmas sales so we'll have more for next year.
I think I like the table running that direction. We might keep it that way even after the tree comes down.
I really like the lights we got. They're made by Phillips (I think) and look like little pearls. They give off a nice warm glow.
So far the real tree has been great. Watering it is a little bit of a hassle but there are no pine needles on the floor around it. I think maybe because it was cut fresh and never bundled. Or maybe the pine needle fairy (Jeremy) is sweeping them up and I haven't noticed.
