What you might not know is that one of her favorite things in the whole world is rearranging her collection of mid-century furniture and things. She has this amazing ability to remix and make her spaces look just right. She wholeheartedly embraces the perfectly imperfect.
She turned her breakfast nook into a little office space. My favorite detail about the entire place is the upside down wallpaper in the kitchen.
I barely remember that telephone nook being there and here she goes making it a piece of art.
Liz says:I hated it at first. Sometimes I think about updating it with or without my landlord's permission. But now I kind of love it.
My sentiments exactly. This wallpaper always reminded me of a 1980s Jessica McClintock dress. And I could totally rock an 1980s McClintock.
Liz also has an amazing eye for detail.
Bathtub detail.
Liz says: Combines two things I love- typography, and historical-house-details. Bad grout jobs make me sad.
I loved this tub - it was deep and just STURDY. I shared a 30 gallon hot water heater with my duplex neighbor when living there – so I would have to heat water on the stove in order to fill the tub with hot water.
Liz's mom got her this little statue for Christmas and it might be one of my favorite things in the entire world.
