Kitchen things.

Yesterday we dropped off our kitchen cabinet doors at a glass place. We chose two different kinds of glass - option A and option B. We'll see what we get!

Hopefully we'll have our countertops and cabinet doors done by the end of next week. From there the big things we'll need to tackle are the backsplash (repairing and tiling), patching the tile floor, buying and installing knobs and pulls for the cabinets, and lighting for our cabinets and ceiling.

For now we're investing in fun things for the kitchen.

Like salt and pepper shakers. Recently we were at Bed, Bath & Beyond debating between a few styles. We knew we wanted the grinders but were having a hard time deciding on which ones.


These seemed classic and nice.


These have an instant "wow" factor.


These are the same concept but a little less cheesy.


We wound up with these. They're modern and functional. They're tiny and have magnets on them so we can stick them to the fridge or oven range.

We also got these mixing bowls.

They were a great price and look so good on our shelves. We also needed more mixing bowls. For cheesecake brownies. Yum.
