About a year ago my sister was a few months pregnant and throwing up an average of 5 times a day. The only thing that made her happy was the thought of Disneyworld.
So we planned a huge family vacation almost a year in advance. Me, Jeremy, my sister, brother-in-law, nephew (4), mom and dad met my brother and his girlfriend in Orlando, Florida for a magical vacation.
Overall, the vacation was fantastic and so much more than I expected. It was also completely exhausting. As a kid you don't really notice ALL the other kids around you at Disneyworld. As an adult you notice every single melt down and fit thrown.
Jeremy's favorite ride was Expedition Everest.
Waiting in line was just about as cool as the ride itself. It was like being on set of the Darjeeling Limited. In general, Animal Kingdom, Asia specifically, was designed really well.
Our next favorite ride was the Tower of Terror.
We probably rode this one 3 times in a row one evening.
My ALL time favorite is the Carousel of Progress. I know, I know.
It's about as exciting as the Hall of Presidents (which was closed due to the recent President Elect – YAY!) but I LOVE it.
Jeremy happened to notice the wiring on the wall in Act 2 (which takes place in the 1920s) is the same as some of the wiring we have in our basement. Haha!
We did get a poster for our house.
I'm not usually a fan of Disney Art but I couldn't pass this one up.
I'll update again once I get more photos uploaded.
