It started off with Jeremy moving into my duplex with me.
Jeremy turned 30 in February.
We celebrated with mini-golf.
In April we ran away to Mexico.
In May I turned 26.
We celebrated at Sushi Neko with the crew. It was the best birthday ever.
And my nephew, Sam, was born.
We lived right on Edgemere Park and we fell in love with the neighborhood. We decided we wanted to buy a home together in the area.
We had the best times ever in the park.
In June we found and bought our house.
The next month was spent remodeling.
In July we moved in and continued to work on the house throughout the summer.
In September we took a small family vacation to Fredericksburg, TX.
October was Halloween.
November was change.
And Disneyworld.
And Thanksgiving.
December was Christmas.
And a real tree.
2008 had its challenges but it was a very rewarding year. We spent a lot of time working on the house and hanging out with our closest friends and family. We really couldn't ask for more.
So last night we rang in the New Year with a low-key evening. Champagne and poppers and smooching at midnight. We're looking forward to oh-nine and everything it brings.
in may, your hair looks like your cute haircut now!! it was fate.
ReplyDeleteI know! I'm actually planning on letting the front grow out quite a bit so it looks even more like that. My hair has really settled into it's new cut and I'm getting a ton of compliments! I still want to go blond. Get ready. ;)
