I suggested we design an oversized postcard - one for the ceremony invitation and another announcing their nuptials and upcoming reception.
Matt and Caroline have the sweetest little daughter - so I thought it would be cute to include her (represented by a little seashell) on the invitation.
Caroline had these printed at a copy shop - which goes to show how far a good design can go with a modest print budget.
These turned out awesomely. Love the rich color palette, especially the pop of red, and the baby shell is a great detail.
ReplyDeleteAlso the light in the photos? I love summer morning light. Unmistakable.
Looks fab. I always suggest brides use more postcards for casual events but very few are willing to go for it. It just adds an element of fun to the whole thing - especially for a beachy or destination wedding. Great job.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing! I love the idea of the three shells...so adorable.
ReplyDeleteThose look adorable, love the richness! I need to post mine, just haven't had the chance.
