So here it goes.
My Most Beautiful Post:

My boot collection post - I think my boots are so beautiful.
My Most Popular Post:

The original post showcasing the wedding invites I designed for me and Jeremy gets a lot of hits according to Blogger stats. And it was when Joanna Goddard shared them with her audience over on A Cup Of Joe that the whole thing snowballed into a business. I no longer design invitations but will always thank Joanna for sparking that little part of my freelance career.
My Most Controversial Post:

I once heard through the grapevine that someone was offended that I wore (and documented) clashing shades of green - ever since I've been even more tempted to challenge outdated fashion rules.
My Most Helpful Post:

I like to think all of my freelance "matters" posts are helpful but To-Do Matters seemed to be a favorite.
A Post I Didn't Think Got the Attention it Deserved:

The wedding announcement. I didn't talk about the wedding planning at all on J&K until after the fact. I think I could've given it just a tiny bit more attention but I was embarrassed that it was my second time to get married.
The Post I'm Most Proud Of:

The Everest Base Camp series of posts for sure. Along with the trek itself - capturing, shaping and sharing the experience with you all changed my life.
A Post Whose Success Surprised Me:

I really had no idea you all just wanted to talk about armpits.
Ha! Great round-up. I also LOVE your fitness posts. And food posts. And your wedding still rocks my world. Actually, it might've been the feature Joanna wrote for Smitten that led me to your blog in the first place! xo.
ReplyDeleteoh those Frye's, those Frye's! also, who doesn't want to talk about armpits? =)
ReplyDeleteI love this post. And I loved everything about your wedding . . . never paid a bit of attention to what number it was. You were absolutely gorgeous and it's just the kind of low key but amazing wedding I want to have someday. Thank you for being so honest on your blog. That's what I love about you!
ReplyDeleteIts neat to see a round up on older posts, especially since I've only just discovered your blog this year.
ReplyDeleteyou're so inspiring it should be illegal. i bet you get that a lot. but i'm dead surrious.
ReplyDeleteNicole - OH! I'm about to do another Fitness Matters post this week!
ReplyDeleteSara - I know. Those Frye's. I pretty much think of them as the equivalent of my engagement ring.
Meghan - You are so sweet. xoxo!
Jennie - I'm so glad you did discover me. I always really enjoy and appreciate your comments.
Anna - Best compliment ever. I've made it my life purpose to be inspired and in return inspire. So thank you.
You inspire the socks right off of me! Before I a full on-obsessed-subscrbring reader to your blog I saw your wedding post + thus used balloons in our wedding photos. :) I really like this round-up. I didn't realize how long I've been reading. Your content is so rich and it varies and it's never drab and I just enjoy reading your stories.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this roundup of all things Kathleen (and Jeremy). That photo from your wedding announcement is so awesome. And I do love your boot collection. I kinda want you to fly to DC and help me find some. I've been searching for a good pair for three years. Darn monster calves I have (they're not even THAT big, but most boots are so narrow at the top).
ReplyDeleteGosh. Even that first picture of those boots makes me drool. I am going to read the rest of the post after I wrote this. I just recently discovered your blog and I see I have a lot of reading to do :-) Have a lovely weekend!
